Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a minimally abrasive treatment removing the thicker, uneven outer layer of the skin. This treatment uses micro particles to slough off the top layer (epidermis) of the skin and stimulate new skin growth. This type of skin rejuvenation is used to treat light scarring, discoloration and sun damage.

Chemical Peels are used to improve skin texture, age spots, skin discoloration, fine lines, wrinkles and mild acne scars. This procedure stimulates new skin growth utilizing a chemical solution to remove the outer layers of the skin. The new skin is smoother, more even in color and less wrinkled. Chemical peels may produce redness and a peeling similar to a sunburn. This typically lasts between a few days to a few weeks, depending on the strength and depth of the chemical peel.
The depth and type of chemical peel used by a our professionals depends on the condition of the skin, the skin’s Fitzpatrick type (skin color and likelihood to burn), and the skincare habits of the client. In general, the higher the Fitzpatrick skin type, the more caution should be exercised to avoid triggering a pigment response. For extremely sensitive skin and skin experiencing barrier dysfunction (eczema, psoriasis, etc), chemical peels are generally not recommended.
